Rapid Prototyping

From idea to beta
in 60 days.

A fixed-cost, fixed-timeline build that turns your idea into a working beta. Put it in front of real users, learn what works, and walk into your funding round with something real to show.

60 days From kick-off to a live beta
Fixed cost One price, agreed before we start
Working beta Real software, not a mock-up

Great For

Rapid prototyping is for the moment when you need to find out, quickly and affordably, whether your idea works.

Testing Ideas

Put a real product in front of real users and learn what they actually do, not what they say they'd do.

Your Funding Round

Investors back evidence. Show a working product, early user feedback and a credible plan for what comes next.

Winning Early Customers

Give pilot customers something they can log in to and use, so conversations turn into commitments.

New Ventures

Established businesses can test a new product or service without tying up their own team for months.

What It Is, and What It Isn't

Being clear about this up front is how we deliver in 60 days, for a fixed price, every time.

It is

  • A working beta. Real software that real people can sign up to and use.
  • Focused on what matters. The core features that prove your idea, agreed before we start.
  • Fixed cost, fixed timeline. One price and 60 days, so you can plan around it.
  • Built to grow. Made with modern, production-grade tools, so it can be the foundation for what comes next.
  • Yours. You own the code, the hosting accounts and the documentation.

It isn't

  • A finished, scaled product. It's a beta for learning. Expect to refine it based on what users tell you.
  • A clickable mock-up or slide deck. If you only need designs, you probably don't need us yet.
  • An open-ended project. The scope is fixed. New ideas go on the list for the next phase, not into this one.
  • Built for scale or certification. It's ready for early users, not millions of them, and not for formal audits like ISO 27001 or SOC 2.
  • A guarantee of success. A prototype tells you whether the idea works. Sometimes the answer is no, and finding that out in 60 days is a win.
  • Ongoing support. Support and further development are available separately, or through our CTO as a Service.

How the 60 Days Work

Three phases, with a working demo every week so there are no surprises.

  1. Days 1–10

    Discover and Scope

We dig into your idea, your users and your goals, agree the must-have features, and fix the price.

  2. Days 11–50

    Build

We build in short cycles and show you working software every week, so you can steer as we go.

  3. Days 51–60

    Launch and Hand Over

Your beta goes live. We hand over the code and documentation, plus a plan for what to build next.

Built the Way We Build Our Own

Our Labs products, like Passmark and BaseBrick, are built with the same tools and approach we use for client prototypes.

How much does it cost?

Every prototype has a fixed price, agreed after a free initial conversation once we understand what you need. The price won't change during the 60 days.

What do I need to bring?

A clear idea of the problem you're solving and who it's for, and someone from your side who can make decisions quickly. We'll handle the rest.

What happens after 60 days?

That's up to you. Many clients take their beta to users or investors first. When you're ready to build further, we can carry on with you, or help you hire your own team.

Do I own what you build?

Yes. The code, accounts and documentation are handed over to you at the end.

Got an idea worth testing?

Tell us what you're building. If a 60-day prototype is the right fit, we'll tell you, and if it isn't, we'll tell you that too.
